LOGIBEC GROUPE INFORMATIQUE LTD.: STRONG REVENUE AND EARNINGS GROWTH

Logibec Groupe Informatique Ltd. released today the results of its fiscal year and quarter ended Sept. 30, 2009.

Revenue for the fiscal year 2009 stood at $76.3-million, representing an increase of 13 per cent compared with $67.6-million for the previous year.

For the fiscal year 2009, revenue from American activities represented 54 per cent of consolidated revenue compared with 51 per cent of consolidated revenue for the previous fiscal year. This increase in the portion of revenue from the American segment is primarily due to the inclusion of acquisitions made during the first quarter of the previous year, namely Achieve and QuickCare, which contributed to American revenue for a full year in 2009. The 6-per-cent increase in revenue from the Canadian segment also slowed the growth in the relative importance of American revenue.
