JNR ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT

JNR Resources Inc. has closed its private placement totalling $1.85-million. These funds were raised through the issue by JNR of 7.4 million flow-through common shares at a price of 25 cents per share.

A commission of $96,000 was paid to Toll Cross Securities Inc. as consideration for arranging a portion of the private placement.
