In other corporate news, the company announced the issuance of 1.21 million share purchase options to officers and members of the board of directors of the company. These options granted, as well as additional employee option grants, were done after a year of pay reductions and operational streamlining, in order to create incentives and to retain key personnel. The options have an exercise price of 18 cents, vest over three years and expire on Nov. 17, 2014.
