GAMMON GOLD TO RELEASE THIRD QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS ON NOVEMBER 12, 2009

Gammon Gold Inc.'s quarterly financial results for the three-month period ended Sept. 30, 2009, will be released before the market opens on Nov. 12, 2009. The financial statements will be available on the company's website or SEDAR.

A webcast and conference call will be held on Nov. 12, 2009, starting at 10 a.m. Eastern Time (11 a.m. Atlantic Time). Senior management will be on hand to discuss the results.
