CLEARFORD ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF BRUCE LINTON AS PRESIDENT AND CEO Clearford Industries Inc. has appointed Bruce Linton as
president and chief executive officer. Mr. Linton replaces John Kelly, who has held this position
since August, 2008. Mr. Kelly will remain as a director of the company.
Mr. Linton was previously Clearford's president and CEO from January, 2005,
to July, 2008, when, under obligations as part of the purchase by Armtec LP of Clearford's Brooklin concrete division, he entered into a
consulting contract with Armtec. Prior to joining Clearford in 2005, he was
the general manager and refounder of ComputerLand, president and co-founder
of webHancer Corp., and worked in various capacities at CrossKeys and
Newbridge Networks.
Mr. Linton expressed confidence in the future of Clearford: "I have
always been excited about this company and I believe that the global demand
for Clearford's integrated system is very strong. I am delighted to be given
the opportunity to lead Clearford to success," he said.
