Gold Hawk Resources Inc.'s board of directors has approved the notice of meeting and management's information circular regarding the upcoming special meeting of shareholders. Important information to make an informed decision regarding the resolutions under consideration is included in the information circular that is being mailed to shareholders of record this week. Gold Hawk's board of directors recommends that shareholders vote in favour of several resolutions at the upcoming special meeting of shareholders Nov. 9 and as further described in the information circular, including: - Authorize the sale of 85 per cent of the Coricancha mine to Nyrstar Netherlands (Holdings) BV or its nominee and retain an indirect interest of 15 per cent;
- Authorize the consolidation of the issued and outstanding common shares of the company on the basis of every 25 common shares of the company into one common share of the company;
- Amend the 2009 stock option plan to create a rolling plan to attract and retain qualified personnel.
