Mr. Chris Bruce reports SCOTIABANK INVESTS $1.7 MILLION IN NEW SUMMERSIDE BRANCH
Bank of Nova Scotia opens the doors of its newest Edmonton branch today. Located at 904 - 91 St. S.W. in the market at Summerside shopping centre, this 5,000 square foot, full-service banking centre offers a complete range of personal and business banking, borrowing, investing, wealth management and small business services. It is Scotiabank's 23th branch in the city of Edmonton and 34th location in the greater Edmonton area.
"The Edmonton market has been one of the most active for Scotiabank in Canada over the past few years, reflecting the enormous growth the city has undergone. Since December, 2006, we have opened eight new branches in the Greater Edmonton area," explained Chris Bruce, vice-president, Edmonton district, for Scotiabank. "We continue to look for opportunities to grow along with the Edmonton area. In addition to our new Summerside branch, we'll be opening two more branches in Edmonton by the spring."
