BELL ALIANT ANNOUNCES CASH DISTRIBUTION FOR OCTOBER 2009

Bell Aliant Regional Communications Income Fund has declared its cash distribution of 24.17 cents per unit for the month of October, 2009.

The distribution will be paid on Nov. 13, 2009, to unitholders of record at the close of business on Oct. 30, 2009. The declaration of future distributions is subject to approval by the Bell Aliant trustees.
