AVENIR DIVERSIFIED INCOME TRUST CONFIRMS AUGUST DISTRIBUTION

Avenir Diversified Income Trust has declared its August distribution. The cash distribution will be six cents per trust unit, which is consistent with the previous monthly distribution. The distribution will be paid on Sept. 15, 2009, to unitholders of record on Aug. 31, 2009. The ex distribution date is Aug. 27, 2009.
