Alamos Gold Inc. has released the third quarter results ending Sept. 30, 2009, producing a third quarter record of 42,500 ounces of gold at an expected total cash cost below $335 per ounce, which includes a 5-per-cent royalty. Key operational metrics and production statistics for the third quarter of 2009 compared with the third quarter of 2008, and on a year-to-date basis to Sept. 30, 2009, are presented in the tables. The company is also providing a brief update on mine operations and exploration activities, and is announcing that it expects to release its third quarter 2009 financial results on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, before the market opens.
