EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Nov. 25, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- More than 625 U.S. servicemen and women on active duty will be able to talk to loved ones back home over the holidays for free, thanks to the generosity of the employees of Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC).

Northrop Grumman Women Make a Great Call for USO: Northrop Grumman employees (l to r) Ann Nolan, Marian Fu, Sharon Wood and Ginger Recanzone present Michael Tielmann, executive director of the Bob Hope USO at LAX, with more than 625 phone cards purchased with the proceeds of a Veterans Day fundraiser spearheaded by the company's Women in Northrop Grumman and Women's Network Group service clubs. The fundraiser collected more than $11,500 from company employees in a single day.
