With Mobile Phax, users simply take pictures of documents using their BlackBerry(R) smartphone, and the app turns them into high-quality images that are printer-friendly and sends them to as many recipients as you like. With Mobile Phax, mobile professionals now have all of the benefits of a fax machine without having to be in the office, or worry about finding a nearby copy center that is open when they need it.

With Mobile Phax, you can now turn a hard copy of a document into a PDF, just as you would with a traditional fax machine or scanner, but on the go. In addition to emailing documents, Mobile Phax allows users to send a document imaged with their phone to any fax machine via popular fax gateway services.

Mobile Phax is easy to use, and consumers and professionals on the go can be sending Phaxes in a few short steps using their BlackBerry smartphones.

To create and send a Phax:

    --  Press "New" to create a new Phax;
    --  Take a picture of the document you want to Phax;
    --  Add a subject and cover page text if you like;
    --  Add recipients from your contacts list or type in new ones; and
    --  Hit "send," and your Phax is sent to the recipients as a PDF with a copy
        to you.

Behind the Scenes:

As photos of each page are taken, they are uploaded to the Mobile Phax servers where our patent pending IMagePROVE(TM) technology automatically crops, rotates and scales the image as if you carefully photocopied each page of a standard 8.5"x11" or A4 document. The cleaned up image is then converted to a PDF for easy emailing as a Phax.

Pricing and Availability

BlackBerry smartphone users can purchase Mobile Phax for $9.99, which includes the capacity for sending up to 50 pages. Recharge with more Phax Packs when you use up the pages.

Additional capacity for 100 or 500 pages can be purchased in Phax Packs for $19.99 or $49.99 respectively.
