Cavium Networks (NASDAQ: CAVM), a leading provider of highly integrated semiconductor products that enable intelligent processing for networking, communications, storage, wireless and video applications, today announced that it has been ranked among the fastest growing companies in North America on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500(TM), Deloitte LLP's ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Cavium Networks is ranked 137 on Deloitte's 2009 Technology Fast 500. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the five year period from 2004-2008. Cavium Networks grew revenue 1,069 percent during this period.

Cavium Networks' President and CEO Syed Ali credits the company's growth to the expansion of its multiple products families, including the OCTEON Multi-core MIPS64 processor family, the NITROX family of deep packet inspection and security co-processors, PureVu Video processors and ECONA single and dual-core ARM processors, which are used in high growth intelligent networking, storage, wireless, video and connected home and office markets.
