The TomCat™ X-Band terminal is a light-weight, man-transportable X-band satellite communications system that sets-up and can be operational within minutes. It is fully integrated and operates on a variety of power sources. It is ideally suited for tactical and other rapid-response applications that operate in harsh conditions and in remote locations. As part of Globecomm’s Explorer terminal product line, the TomCat™ X-Band terminal fits in a single transit case which meets the requirements for checked baggage aboard commercial airlines. User-friendly monitor and control features include built-in diagnostics, an integrated spectrum analyzer, and a comprehensive GUI (Graphic User Interface) for use with a laptop computer.
