Partner Communications Company Ltd. ("Partner" or the "Company")
(Nasdaq:PTNR) (TASE:PTNR), a leading Israeli mobile communications
operator, announces that its offer for the acquisition of 100% of
the issued and outstanding share capital of MIRS Communications Ltd.
("MIRS") and/or MIRS operations from Motorola Israel Ltd. will not be
proceeding and discussions have been terminated.
This announcement comes in continuation of the Company's previous
statement on September 21, 2009 that it had submitted an offer, subject
to conditions, for the acquisition of MIRS. MIRS is a cellular company
which operates in Israel using the iDEN technology and whose market
share is estimated at 4% to 5%.
