AREV SUES HARVEY FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT

Arev Brands International Ltd. has begun litigation in the Supreme Court of British Columbia over the breaches of agreement by the defendant, Matthew Harvey, the vendor of the B.C. Bud Depot assets.

On July 3, 2018, Arev entered into an asset purchase agreement to purchase the assets of B.C. Bud Depot (see Arev's July 12, 2018, news release). The company claims Mr. Harvey has breached the contract and is seeking relief. Mr. Harvey has 21 days to respond from the date of service. The company has no guarantee of succeeding and no estimate of when this matter will be resolved; however, the company's litigator remains confident that the company has a strong case.

Mike Withrow, chief executive officer, commented: "Relief being sought is to protect Arev shareholders. This is now in the court, and management is committed to vigorously pursuing this matter. We strongly disagree with the content in the recent news issued Jan. 30 by Mr. Harvey, doing business as B.C. Bud Depot."
