The S&P/TSX Cannabis Index lost 10.29 to 156.62, while the CSE Composite Index edged down 1.26 to 684.46. The Flowr Corp. (FLWR) lost 4.5 cents to 37.5 cents on 897,600 shares, after announcing the closing of its all-share takeover of Terrace Global Inc. (TRCE). Terrace has been halted at 22 cents since last week. Last week brought its own announcement about the closing of this $60-million deal, so today's reminder seemed largely to reflect the filing of the relevant SEDAR document.

The takeover builds on a previous relationship that began as a consulting agreement for Terrace to help the historically Canada-focused Flowr develop operations internationally (specifically Portugal). Flowr eventually decided to bring Terrace's expertise in house, offering 0.4973 of a share of itself for each share of Terrace, in a move that roughly doubles Flowr's share count to 289 million. Terrace expects to delist in the coming days.
