NORAM CLOSES $89,250 FINANCING

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing the second and final tranche of Noram Ventures Inc.'s private placement for gross proceeds of $89,250 by issuing 1.19 million units at a price of 7.5 cents per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one transferrable share purchase warrant exercisable at 10 cents for five years from the date of issuance. All shares and warrants issued pursuant to this financing will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months plus a day from the date of closing. No finders' fees were paid. An insider of the company purchased 200,000 units for gross proceeds of $15,000.

Proceeds from the placement will be used for general working capital and exploration expenditures.
