AXION VENTURES EXTENDS PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Axion Ventures Inc. has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to extend the closing of the non-brokered private placement, as announced by the company on Dec. 12, 2019. Axion has elected to extend the current placement by 30 days due to delays in gathering final subscription documents from individuals within the Asia region that have been affected by mandated office closures due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The original terms of the placement remain unchanged and include the issuance of 5,714,286 common shares at a price of 35 cents per share for total gross proceeds to the company of up to $2-million.
