West Texas Intermediate crude for July delivery lost $3.10 to $88.20, while Brent for August lost $2.80 to $91.45 (all figures in this para U.S.). Western Canadian Select traded at a discount of $11.80 to WTI, up from a discount of $16.50. Natural gas for July was unchanged at $3.14. The TSX energy index lost 13.21 points to close at 409.19.
