The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, April 15, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Cameron Doerksen has reiterated his "outperform" recommendation for TFI International. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Doerksen's share target soared $13 to $190. Analysts on average target the shares at $172.48. Mr. Doerksen says in a note: "Although overall freight volumes remained soft to start 2026, regulatory changes/enforcement in both the U.S. and Canada are spurring trucking capacity exiting the market. One broad-based measure of transportation capacity in the U.S. we track is the Logistics Manager's Transportation Capacity Index which initially collapsed 13.1 points in December to 36.9. The index has been in contraction territory each month since then with the most recent reading from March coming in at 39.2, down 1.8 points from February. ... Recent positive PMI readings point to a possible rebound in U.S. industrial activity, which would be positive for TFI International given its exposure to industrial freight in its truckload segment." The Globe reported on Jan. 9 that Mr. Doerksen had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for TFI. It was then worth $154.48.
