The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, May 12, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Don DeMarco has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Oceanagold. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. DeMarco gave his share target a $4 boost to $76. Analysts on average target the shares at $66.58. Mr. DeMarco says in a note: "[First quarter results] saw financials mixed, production and costs higher vs. our estimates; FCF up quarter-over-quarter, buoyed by higher realized gold price lifting cash balance and maintaining sizable returns to shareholders as part of their expanded $350-million share buyback program for 2026. Guidance reiterated with standout production expected in Q2 and Q4/26." The Globe reported on Sept. 9 that TD Cowen analyst Wayne Lam, seeing "clearer waters ahead," upgraded Oceanagold to "buy" from "hold," believing it was "primed for growth in 2026." It was then worth $27.32. The Globe reported on Nov. 12 that Mr. DeMarco continued to rank Oceanagold "outperform." The shares could then be had for $36.62. The Globe reported on Nov. 28 that Desjardins Securities analyst Bryce Adams commenced coverage on Oceanagold with a "buy" recommendation. The shares could then be had for $35.97.
