The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, April 24, edition that CIBC World Markets analyst Tal Woolley commenced coverage on Canadian Net REIT with a "neutral" rating and a $7 unit target. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the units at $6.75. Mr. Woolley says in a note: "Canadian Net REIT's fully-occupied, triple-net lease model supports stable cash flows and a defensive earnings profile. Low capital requirements generate approximately $5-million to $6-million of annual excess free cash flow, providing financial flexibility to delever and manage upcoming mortgage maturities. A conservative payout ratio leaves room to sustain and potentially increase distributions over time."
