The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, May 8, edition that TD Cowen analyst John Mould has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Fortis. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Mould boosted his share target by a loonie to $84. Analysts on average target the shares at $81.11. Mr. Mould says in a note: "Fortis's Q1/26 EPS was slightly below our forecast; the potential for both regulatory improvement and DC load growth in AZ is intact. Fortis offers exposure to broader load-growth trends; we believe its electricity weighting, diversification and scale justify a premium valuation." The Globe reported on June 27 that Mr. Mould had commenced coverage on Fortis with a "buy" recommendation. The shares could then be had for $64.64. The Globe reported on Feb. 13 that RBC Capital analyst Maurice Choy had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Fortis. The shares could then be had for $77.42. The Globe reported on Feb. 18 that National Bank Financial analyst Patrick Kenny had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Fortis. The shares could then be had for $77.71.
