EUROPEAN ELETRIC METALS CHANGES NAME TO CANADIAN GOLDFIELDS DISCOVERY CORP.

European Electric Metals Inc. has changed its name to Canadian Goldfields Discovery Corp. The company's common shares will adopt the new name and stock ticker symbol CGM on Jan. 12, 2026.

The name change better reflects the company's plan to pursue gold projects based in Canada. The company previously announced its acquisition of the Miminiska property. Closing of the acquisition remains subject to acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.

In connection with the name change, the following new ISIN (international securities identification number), CA1358711010, has been assigned to the common shares of the company. No action is required to be taken by shareholders with respect to the name change. Outstanding common share certificates bearing the old name of the company are still valid and are not affected by the name and ticker symbol change.
