CARTIER SILVER ANNOUNCES FINANCING

Cartier Silver Corp. is proceeding with a non-brokered private placement for proceeds of up to $1.5-million.

Private placement

The private placement will consist of up to 12 million units of Cartier Silver at a price of 12.5 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $1.5-million. Each unit will consist of one common share in the capital of Cartier Silver and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share at a price of 20 cents per share for a term of 36 months following the closing of the private placement.

The net proceeds of the private placement will be used to finance exploration at the Chorrillos project in the Potosi department of Bolivia and for working capital purposes. The private placement is subject to all required regulatory approval. All securities issued pursuant to the private placement will be subject to the applicable statutory four-month hold period.
