The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, April 8, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Jerome Dubreuil has an unchanged "hold" recommendation on Cogeco Communications. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Dubreuil knocked his share target back by a loonie to $71. Analysts on average target the shares at $75.80. Mr. Dubreuil says in a note: "The company's conference call will be key to assess whether management still expects a [second half] U.S. turnaround (started in March). We also expect further insight into early customer traction for Welo, the company's digital-only U.S. brand." The Globe reported on Oct. 11, 2024, Oct. 10, 2025, Nov. 4, 2025, Jan. 13, 2026, and Jan. 16, 2026, that Mr. Dubreuil had reaffirmed his "hold" recommendation for Cogeco Communications, which was then going for $69.30, $64.52, $64.45, $67.31 and $73.17. The Globe's guest columnist Norman Rothery recommended buying Cogeco Communications on Feb. 12, 2026. The shares were then going for $68.97.
