BTU CAPITAL CORP. ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE FOR QUALIFYING TRANSACTION

After a lengthy period of due diligence, the board, its financial and legal advisers, and management, have determined not to continue pursuing the qualifying transaction (QT) under an agreement in principal dated June 22, 2010, between BTU Capital Corp. and Peak Positioning Corp.

Management will immediately make necessary application to the TSX Venture Exchange to reinstate trading of its shares as a capital pool company.

The company intends to pursue a QT in the resource sector and management is reviewing several proposals of merit.
