ZECOTEK PROPOSES TO EXTEND TERM OF WARRANTS

Zecotek Photonics Inc. proposes to extend by six months the term of outstanding share purchase warrants exercisable at a price of 50 cents per common share for: 1,264,443 common shares of the company, issued pursuant to a private placement which closed on April 10, 2013, and 450,056 common shares of the company, issued pursuant to a private placement which closed on June 7, 2013. The proposed expiry date will be extended to Oct. 10, 2015, and Dec. 7, 2015, for the first and second tranches, respectively. All of the warrants were originally exercisable for two years from the date of issuance, subject to acceleration, such that if the closing price of the common shares of the company on the TSX Venture Exchange is equal to or greater than $1 for a period of 10 consecutive trading days. The warrants will expire on the date that is 30 days after the date the trading target is met.

The warrant extension is subject to exchange acceptance.

All other terms of the warrants will remain unchanged.
