The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Goldcorp Inc. has amended, by a notice of extension and variation dated May 26, 2017, its April 20, 2017, offer to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Exeter Resource Corp. for 0.12 of a Goldcorp share per Exeter share held. According to the TSX, Goldcorp has determined to waive the condition that no less than 66-2/3rds per cent of the outstanding Exeter shares be tendered to the offer. The offer will expire at 5 p.m. Toronto time on June 7, 2017, and trades on June 7, 2017, will settle on June 9, 2017.

According to the TSX, Goldcorp expects to pay each soliciting dealer a solicitation fee of two cents for each Exeter share deposited and taken up, with the total amount payable to a soliciting dealer with respect to any single depositing shareholder being not less than $75 and not more than $1,500, provided that at least 2,000 Exeter shares are deposited per beneficial shareholder.
