EXETER RESOURCE CORPORATION ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR AND OFFICER APPOINTMENTS

Effective June 24, 2017, John C. Simmons, Yale R. Simpson and Bryce Roxburgh resigned from Exeter Resource Corp.'s board of directors. Also on the effective date, Jason Attew, Jamie Rogers and Ali Pejman were appointed to fill the resulting vacancies, all in accordance with the amended and restated support agreement dated April 19, 2017, between the company and Goldcorp Inc. Julian Bavin and Robert Gordon Reynolds will remain on the board. The company also removed Wendell M. Zerb, Cecil Bond, Jerry Perkins, Mr. Roxburgh and Mr. Simpson in their capacities as officers of the company. Accordingly, Kim Hackney (chief executive officer) and Mr. Attew (chief financial officer) have been appointed as officers of the company. Exeter wishes to thank the departing directors and officers for their contributions to the company.
