XXL ENERGY CORP. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR

XXL Energy Corp. has appointed Fletcher FitzGibbon, CA, as an additional director to the board of directors. Mr. FitzGibbon is a consultant with clients in the energy, greenhouse gas and sustainability reporting sectors. From 2008 to 2014, Mr. FitzGibbon served in various roles at the international accounting firm KPMG LLP, including audit manager for clients in the banking and renewable energy sectors, and manager in KPMG's climate change and sustainability group. During this time, Mr. FitzGibbon was involved with a variety of non-profit organizations and served on the leadership committee of Net Impact Vancouver. Mr. FitzGibbon has a bachelor of commerce from the University of Victoria and a master in professional accounting from the University of Saskatchewan. Mr. FitzGibbon was admitted into the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 2012.
