WINDFIRE APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR

Windfire Capital Corp. is appointing Walter Luke to the board of directors. Mr. Luke joined Nortel Networks in 1987 and advanced to director of global support services. After leaving Nortel in 1999, he built successful private businesses, providing consulting services to large-scale telecommunications projects. He has more than 29 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including responsibilities for network integration in over 40 countries. Throughout his career, he has won several prestigious awards (Chairman's and President's Award) for his contributions to building new businesses in various regions in Africa, India, Asia and the South Pacific. He also has been involved in more than 20 large-scale projects as a program manager and consultant, including overseeing large-scale networks such as Nigeria Multilink, Bell Mobility's HSPA (high-speed packet access) network, Australia Optus GSM, Israel CDMA Pelephone and the New Zealand Clear network. He holds a project manager professional certification from the Project Management Institute. The company also reports that Christopher Hough has resigned as a director of the company due to personal reasons.

The company would also like to report the grant of 150,000 incentive stock options to certain directors, officers, employees and consultants of the company at a price of 20 cents per common share, exercisable for a five-year period.
