VIQ AWARDED PATENT PROTECTION FOR KEY HIGH PERFORMANCE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

VIQ Solutions Inc. has been awarded patent-pending status for its innovative high performance evidence-based training workflow.

The patents relate to VIQ's secure digital AV capture of training procedures, protocols and performance criteria. The captured data and associated video analytics enable detailed trainee competence assessment and significantly enhance training and improve performance.

Applications apply to a wide range of personnel in VIQ's market focus in medical, law enforcement, courts, public safety and military. Training and certification for key positions such as surgeons, physicians, police, military, firefighters, border and national security agents, and emergency response, for example, are enhanced by more effective development and highly detailed performance evaluation. The universality of the methodology allows future applications in other business sectors.

The captured digital content acquired from VIQ's platform replaces traditional qualitative assessments, with replay and searchable content capturing the actual demonstration of procedures or protocols. The system provides a verified and trusted historical record of the training results of an individual or group that are collected, saved and reviewed.

The audio/video content can also be enriched with digital data, notes, observations, and other measurements specifically designed to measure and assess performance.
