TRISTAR RECEIVES LICENSE EXTENSIONS AT CASTELO DE SONHOS

The Departamento Nacional da Producao Mineral (DNPM) has issued three-year extensions until Aug. 27, 2017, for three exploration licences at TriStar Gold Inc.'s Castelo de Sonhos (CDS) project in Para state in Brazil. These three licences cover an area of 11,965 hectares and are adjacent to the licence that contains the initial resource estimate of 182,000 indicated and 98,000 inferred ounces of gold and that is the subject of an application to be converted to an exploitation licence (see announcement of Aug. 18, 2014).
