THOMSON REUTERS ENABLES INNOVATION WITH NEXT GENERATION DEVELOPER COMMUNITY

Thomson Reuters Corp. has launched its next-generation developer platform for the Thomson Reuters Developer Community, continuing its commitment to be a leader in promoting open technologies, collaboration and innovation. The Thomson Reuters Developer Community portal is an enhanced developer experience, designed and built by developers for developers to meet continuing business challenges.

With over 20,000 external developers using APIs across all Thomson Reuters business units, the Developer Community enables them to create innovative solutions using the Thomson Reuters open platform, consuming analytical content, products and tools. The community promotes communication amongst developers through actively moderated question-and-answer forums, access to developer experts globally and a developer events program, both on-line and off-line. The Developer Community spans the entirety of Thomson Reuters products and business segments.

The developer advocacy function, backed by a global group of experts, engages directly with customers and developers to drive innovation. The launch of Developer Community platform will benefit Thomson Reuters customer and partner ecosystem, accelerating innovation and business value.

The Developer Community is just one of several ways Thomson Reuters is bringing the financial technology community together and fostering innovation. For example, App Studio -- Eikon's third party development suite, enables clients and vendors to embed their applications, content and work flows into Thomson Reuters Eikon, creating an integrated end-to-end solution.
