DRILL PROGRAM APPROVED FOR RED LAKE EXTENSION PROPERTY

A drilling program has been approved for immediate commencement at Tri Origin Exploration Ltd.'s 100-per-cent-owned Red Lake Extension (RLX) property at Red Lake, Ont.

RLX is subject to a four-year, earn-in option agreement with Osisko Mining Corp. As per the agreement, Osisko is financing a $600,000 first-year exploration program at RLX. The drill program comprises the final portion of this commitment, and was approved by Osisko following its review and incorporation of its technical input. Tri Origin will operate the program, and is currently reviewing drill tenders and arranging logistical requirements of the program. It is anticipated that drilling will commence early in November.

The program will consist of approximately 1,000 metres of drilling in six widely spaced holes. Targets were selected based on results of a field program completed in August of 2012, which consisted of detailed geological induced-polarization (IP) geophysical and overburden geochemical sampling on a cut grid at the northwest part of the property.

RLX is a gold exploration project covering an area of 121 square kilometres located at the southeast part of the Red Lake gold mining district contiguous with Goldcorp Inc.'s Red Lake mine property. The highly prolific Red Lake district hosts major operating and past-producing gold mines, and has produced over 20 million ounces of gold.

Results from work conducted to date at the RLX property have been promising, and Tri Origin has identified the extension of the Red Lake mine structural trend and important geological signatures in rocks at RLX, which are similar to those which host the important gold deposits at Red Lake. Prior to Tri Origin's work, the RLX property was essentially unexplored for gold. Tri Origin is pleased to have Osisko's input and expertise in this phase of its exploration program.
