The Investment Reporter, in its July 15, 2016, issue, says buy Transcontinental Inc., recently $18.08. The Reporter said buy 20 times from April 18, 2003, to Oct. 23, 2015, at prices ranging from $9.11 to $24.80. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the 20 buys, the $20,000 position is now worth $23,106. Transcontinental is a Montreal-based printing company primarily focused on publishing, media and marketing services. The company has further expanded its packaging sector, acquiring Kansas-based Robbie Manufacturing. Robbie provides packaging services for grocery stores, consumer goods and food processors. In its most recent fiscal year, Robbie generated sales of $50-million (U.S.). While this is small relative to Transcontinental's annual sales of $2-billion, the acquisition will add to Transcontinental's growing packaging business. Buy.
