SANTA MARIA PETROLEUM INC. ANNOUNCES THIRD QUARTER 2014 RESULTS

Santa Maria Petroleum Inc. (formerly Quetzal Energy Ltd.) has released its unaudited results for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2014. Copies of the company's unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements, and related management's discussion and analysis (MD&A) are being filed with Canadian securities regulatory authorities and will be made available under the company's profile on SEDAR. All dollar figures are expressed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

During the year ended Dec. 31, 2013, the company sold or withdrew from three of its working interests in Colombia, and, on Jan. 31, 2014, it sold substantially all of its remaining assets and liabilities. As a result, it does not have an operating business as of the date of this MD&A.
