SOFTROCK ANNOUNCES THIRD QUARTER RESULTS AND APPOINTMENTS
Softrock Minerals Ltd. has expanded its staff by hiring two new vice-presidents to help manage and acquire new assets.
The company's income for the last three quarters has remained stable at from $5,000 to $6,000 while the lithium rights exploration program is being finalized.
The new vice-president of engineering for Softrock is Granger J. Low who has an MSc from the University of Calgary and an extensive reservoir engineering experience both on his own and with a major Canadian oil and gas company for over 30 years. He is particularly skilled in upgrading oil and gas field recoveries through floods and smart in field drilling.
He will be working closely with Softrock's new vice-president of exploration, Roger Penner, a geologist who also has over 30 years experience in Western Canada, working in the smaller company category, uncovering a number of significant oil and gas prospects. He is especially skilled at evaluating a projects environmental and regularity aspects.
The company feels that with the addition of these two vice-presidents, it will be better able to evaluate the number of asset sales appearing almost weekly and the follow-up financing and management needed to consummate a transaction.
