SOFTROCK MINERALS INCREASES RESERVES

Softrock Minerals Ltd. is providing a progress report for the first quarter of 2017. An independent engineering report filed with SEDAR states that Softrock's reserves during 2016 increased over 200 per cent to $308,000 at a 10-per-cent discount.

President Nick Taylor commented that the welcome increase in reserves was due to the start-up of production from the Northern Alberta Charlie Lake oil field, where only the first well has been completed on the company's 640-acre lease.
