Hotel software provider RSI International Systems Inc. has filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of British Columbia against three former employees, claiming that they defected to a direct competitor. RSI says that its former hires are now sharing confidential information with that competitor and are undertaking vigorous efforts to move RSI's clients. The company is seeking injunctions to halt those efforts.
The allegations are contained in a notice of claim that RSI filed at the Vancouver courthouse on Nov. 18, 2015. The suit names as a defendant former RSI vice-president of sales Kerry Brock. Also defendants are two employees who worked under Ms. Brock: Brent Fretwell and Colleen McCullogh.
