ROGERS SUGAR INC.: MR. STUART BELKIN TO RETIRE AS DIRECTOR AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

After over 20 years of association with Rogers, Lantic Inc. and B.C. Sugar Refinery Ltd. dating back to 1995, Stuart Belkin will be retiring as a director and chairman of the board of the corporation and Lantic upon conclusion of the annual general meeting on Feb. 1, 2017.

The boards of the corporation and Lantic have selected Dallas H. Ross as chairman elect of the respective boards, which will become effective upon the retirement of Mr. Belkin. Mr. Ross has a long association with the corporation and its predecessor entity, Rogers Sugar Income Fund, dating back to 1997.

Mr. Belkin's position on the board, subject to election of the directors at the annual general meeting, will be filled by Gary Collins. Mr. Collins previously served as a director of Lantic for more than five years from July, 2007, to September, 2012.

The corporation continues to remain in good hands with an experienced and talented board and senior management team."
