RAINY MOUNTAIN ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF QUALIFIED PERSON FOR ONTARIO PROPERTIES
Rainy Mountain Royalty Corp. has appointed Robert Middleton, PEng, as the qualified person and geological consultant for the company's Ontario properties.
Mr. Middleton's contributions to developing Ontario's mineral wealth are not insignificant. In 1979, he led the Rosario Resources team that discovered the Bell Creek mine in Timmins, Ont., and, in 1982, he played a role in drilling the discovery hole at the Goliath mine in Hemlo, Ont. He is also credited with discovering the Cross Lake zinc deposit near Timmins, Ont., in 1997 and conducted exploration in the Nipigon plate that led to the discovery of the Seagull platinum group element deposits.
"Mr. Middleton has had many significant achievements over his 40-plus years in the mineral exploration industry. He has gained a wealth of knowledge from his impressive past, and we look forward to working with him as we move forward with our Ontario property interests," said Douglas Mason, chief executive officer and president of Rainy Mountain Royalty.
