RIWI CORP. CLOSES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

RIWI Corp. has closed its non-brokered private placement of 248,822 units of the company at a price of $2.10 per unit or, at the discretion of the subscriber, converted to U.S. dollars using an exchange rate of $1 (Canadian) being equal to 76.923 U.S. cents for an effective price of $1.62 (U.S.) per unit. Each unit will consist of one common share of the company and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase, for a period of 12 months from the date of issue, one common share of the company at an exercise price of $2.40 per share. The offering was originally announced on Sept. 19, 2016. The gross proceeds from the sale of the offered units will be $522,526, and these proceeds will be used primarily to expand the company's global analytics and Big Data platform in response to growing client demand.
