Mr. Chris Connell reports

RITCHIE BROS. SELLING MASSIVE CRANES AND TRUCKS ON ITS EQUIPMENTONE MARKETPLACE

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc. is holding special crane and truck events on its EquipmentOne marketplace in August and September. EquipmentOne is an on-line-only, enhanced listing service that provides access to the world's largest source of equipment and materials. Highlights of the crane and truck events include a 2000 Manitowoc 2250 crawler crane, a 2001 Demag CC2500 450-ton crawler crane, a 2012 International ProStar Plus 122 T/A truck tractor, a 2012 International TranStar 8600 SBA T/A truck tractor, a 2010 Freightliner Columbia 120 T/A tank truck and much more. All items listed in the truck event will close Thursday, Aug. 28, while the crane event runs through Thursday, Sept. 11.

"These special events are designed to make it easier for both sellers and buyers to exchange equipment in a fast, effective and transparent way," said Chris Connell, president of Ritchie Bros. EquipmentOne. "All trucks, trailers and cranes have been listed to sell on EquipmentOne by a variety of sellers from across the United States. Buyers are able to view equipment details, compare multiple listings, make an offer and pay for the item all in the marketplace. And, since we control the escrow process, buyers are protected and can be confident in their purchase."
