ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Portofino Resources Inc. has appointed Michael Dake as a director of the company. Gerald Carlson has resigned as a director of the company.

Mr. Dake has over 16 years of experience providing financing, investor relations and corporate communication services to public companies. He began his career with PhotoChannel Networks Ltd. in September, 1999. Since that time, Mr. Dake has worked in the investor relations and corporate communications capacity for number of junior public companies.

The company would like to thank Mr. Carlson for his time and service on the board of directors.
