PINESTAR GOLD INC. REPORTS CHANGES TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Pinestar Gold Inc. has experienced a change in its board of directors as a result of the passing of Raymond Jefferd in mid-December from the effects of an illness he had been battling. The company expresses its sincere sympathy to Mr. Jefferd's family for their loss. The company also announces that it has appointed Gina A. MacInnes of Vancouver, B.C., as a director of the company to fill the resultant vacancy on its board.
