PINE CLIFF ENERGY LTD. ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENT AND GRANT OF STOCK OPTIONS

Pine Cliff Energy Ltd. has appointed Terry McNeill to the position of vice-president operations. Mr. McNeill has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and held the same position at Berkana Energy Corp. from September, 2006, until January, 2008, and Quatro Resources Ltd. from January, 2008, until the sale of the company in November, 2012. Mr. McNeill possesses a broad range of experience on all aspects of operations including production, construction, completions and drilling. He holds a bachelor of engineering degree from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.

Pine Cliff also announces that it has granted an aggregate of 510,000 stock options to an officer of the company. The stock options vest between one to three years, have an exercise price of $1.49 per share and will expire between Oct. 16, 2015, and Oct. 16, 2017.
