PLAZA RETAIL REIT ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER 2017 DISTRIBUTION

Plaza Retail REIT has declared its September, 2017, monthly distribution in the amount of 2.25 cents per unit (27 cents annualized). The September distribution will be payable on Oct. 16, 2017, to unitholders of record as at Sept. 29, 2017.

Under Plaza's distribution reinvestment plan (DRIP), unitholders are able to reinvest distributions in additional units at a 3-per-cent discount. Units purchased under the DRIP are not subject to the payment of brokerage commissions. Units will be valued at the weighted average closing price on the previous five trading days.

Plaza is an open-ended real estate investment trust and is a leading retail property owner and developer, particularly in Eastern Canada. Plaza's portfolio at June 30, 2017, includes interests in 296 properties totalling approximately 7.6 million square feet across Canada and additional lands held for development.
